These are the terms for using murphytek.com. The site is a brochure page for a company that hasn't shipped a product yet, so the terms are short. If something here is unclear, email hello@murphytek.com and we'll explain.

1. Acceptance

By visiting murphytek.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

2. About Murphytek

Murphytek is a company building infrastructure for autonomous agents. You can reach us at hello@murphytek.com.

3. The site is informational

This website exists to share who we are and what we're working on. It is not a product. We are not offering, selling, or delivering any service through it. If and when that changes, the terms governing those services will be presented separately at the point you sign up for them.

4. No accounts, no transactions

You can't create an account here, you can't pay us anything here, and we don't ask you for sensitive information. The little information we do receive when you visit or email us is described in our privacy policy.

5. Acceptable use

When you use the site, please don't:

• Scrape it in a way that degrades it for other visitors.
• Probe it for vulnerabilities without prior written authorization from us. If you have found something and want to report it responsibly, email us and we'll work with you.
• Use it to harass, defame, or abuse anyone.
• Attempt to bypass any security or access controls.
• Use it for anything that violates applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

The content on this site — including the Murphytek name, wordmark, copy, layout, and underlying code — belongs to Murphytek. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. Nothing on the site is licensed for redistribution, republishing, or derivative use without our written permission. You may view it in your browser, link to it, and quote short excerpts with attribution; that's it.

7. Third-party links

If the site links out to anything we don't operate, those destinations are not endorsed by us and we have no control over what they do. You visit them at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

8. No warranties

The site is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Anything you take away from the site, you take away at your own discretion and risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Murphytek will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits; in those places the cap applies to the maximum extent permitted.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Murphytek harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your misuse of the site or your violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We may restrict or block your access to the site at our discretion, particularly if we believe you are using it in a way that violates these terms or harms us or other visitors. The sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

12. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in these terms waives any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law in your home jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change. Continued use of the site after that date means you accept the updated terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
